Behind grounded studio
Hi, I’m Katie – founder of Grounded Studio.
After years working in fast paced, high pressure marketing roles where expectations were sky high and resources were tight I realised that so much of the work being done didn’t serve the people behind the business. It wasn’t sustainable. It wasn’t grounded. And it certainly wasn’t how I wanted to show up.
So I started Grounded Studio. A place where meaningful brands can access thoughtful, strategic marketing support that works in the real world. Where values matter just as much as conversions, and where clarity, calm and consistency are built into every project.
I believe good marketing doesn’t shout. It resonates. It’s strategic, creative and rooted in something real.
Now, I help purpose led founders and small teams cut through the noise, show up in a way that feels good and grow with intention. Whether that’s through strategy, systems, or content support, my goal is always the same: make it simple, make it intentional and make it yours.

My Background
I’ve spent 10+ years in marketing, working with startups, scaleups, ethical brands, and purpose led businesses. My background spans strategic planning, brand messaging, campaign creation, email marketing, automation, content development and digital tool advising.
I’ve led internal teams, worked cross functionally with creatives and developers, and rolled up my sleeves in resource strapped environments where smart thinking mattered more than big budgets.
Now, through Grounded Studio, I bring that same depth and versatility to the clients I care most about: small businesses doing meaningful work.
